LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has asked the federal and provincial governments to explain why the petitioner, a Lahore resident, was not an aggrieved party in a matter related to bringing Koh-i-Noor back from the UK. Law officers representing the governments told Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan that petitioner Javed Iqbal Jaffry was not an aggrieved party and that the petition seeking a direction that the diamond be brought back was, therefore, not maintainable. The court directed the governments to submit their replies by April 1.
