No Casualties: Cracker thrown at police station
The bag contained explosive material, which exploded as soon as it hit the ground
KARACHI:
A cracker was hurled on Monday near the Sharifabad police station in Liaquatabad Town, however, no casualty was reported. According to the head muharrar of the police station, Muzammil, two men riding a motorcycle threw a black shopping bag near the main entrance of the police station and fled. “The bag contained explosive material, which exploded as soon as it hit the ground,” he said. The initial probe suggests that it was a low-intensity hand grenade concealed in the bag, he said, adding that it did not cause any losses as no one was hurt.
