Concealed danger: Three minors injured in ‘flask bomb’ blast
At least three minors were injured when an explosive device went off within the jurisdiction of Miryan police station in Bannu on Sunday.
An official of Miryan police said Matihullah, Inamullah and Fahimullah were playing in Nala Tochi when they spotted a flask. As they neared the flask, it went off and all three of them were injured. Locals rushed them to the hospital where doctors said the condition of one of the children was critical. He was referred to a hospital in Peshawar.
Separately, a bomb was defused by the police in the same jurisdiction after a search operation was conducted in Nala Tochi. A case has been registered and investigation is under way.
On Saturday evening, eight-year-old Moosa Khan was killed and two others injured when a toy bomb went off near Khani Fort area.
The children were playing by the riverside near Khani Fort when the explosive went off.
