
Since then, she has regularly been practicing and has even been riding her friends’ bikes. The plan, all along, was for her to buy her own bike eventually.
However, Bollywood.com reported that her parents, Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure, are concerned about her safety, and therefore have not granted her permission to buy a bike.
“Shraddha was told by her parents that two-wheelers are not secure enough on Mumbai’s roads. When they didn’t allow her to buy one, she tried convincing them. In fact, she is still doing so. She does not want to do anything without their approval,” said a source, adding that even the first car that Shraddha bought was selected by her parents.
The Ashiqui 2 actor is yet to give up. When contacted, her spokesperson said, “She likes her parents to have their say in things, as she feels that they know what is best for her. But she loves riding bikes, and hopes to purchase one for herself with her parents’ approval some day.”
