Gul Ahmed rolls out lawn collection

Line comprises wide array of psychedelic, ethnic prints

Pakistan’s premium textile powerhouse, Gul Ahmed, launched Volume I of its Spring/Summer Lawn Collection 2016 on February 26, 2016. With a wide array of psychedelic, ethnic prints and an interesting mix of vibrant and soft pastel hues, the line was unveiled at Dolmen City Mall in Karachi in the presence of the who’s who of the entertainment and fashion industry.

The collection has been designed keeping in mind the tastes of modern women who want their outfits to stand out, while retaining an aura of inheritance and tradition. Focusing on extreme craftsmanship of minimalistic cuts and classic silhouettes, Gul Ahmed Lawn Volume 1 is set to take the markets across country by storm.



The unveiling event was attended by the likes of Iman Ali, Sana Fakhar, Zhalay Sarhadi, Sunita Marshall, Neelum Muneer and Ahsan Khan among others. They were welcomed by the red carpet host, Anoushey Ashraf. This was followed by an exclusive fashion presentation featuring models such as Areeba Habib, Saima Azhar, Falak Shaikh, Saima Haroon and Humera Asghar. The entire event was hosted by Sarhadi. The launch of Ideas by Gul Ahmed marked the textile giant’s entry into the the retail business. Starting from Karachi, Gul Ahmed now has an extensive chain of over 60 stores across the country, offering a diverse range of products from home accessories to fashion clothing.
