Condemnation: Lawyers, religious groups protest execution
Nearly 200 people participated in the protest

Three demonstrations were organised by religious parties and lawyers to condemn the execution of Mumtaz Qadri, the man convicted of assassinating then Punjab governor Salman Taseer.
Sunni Tehrik staged a demonstration at Chowk Nawan Shehr led by Imran Mustafa Qadri. Hundreds of protestors condemned Qadri’s execution. They burnt tyres and blocked the several for a few hours.

Members of the district bar on Friday staged a protest led by Imran Khan Khakwani. The protesters chanted slogans commemorating Qadri as a hero.
A rally was organised by Tehrik Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat led by Qari Hanif Jalandri, Qari Ahmed Mian. Nearly 200 people participated in the protest.
