At least 19 judges of lower courts, including those who were appointed recently, have assumed charge of their new offices on Thursday. Among the recently appointed judges who assumed charge were Syed Badshah in Abbottabad, Arbab Abdul Aziz in DI Khan, Iftikhar Ilahi in Malakand, Adil Majeed and Naveedur Rahman in Abbottabad, Shakirullah, Syed Yasir Shabir and Muambar in Peshawar. Those who were posted in the southern districts of K-P included Ziaur Rahman, Muhammad Saeed, Rasheedullah Kundi, Jamal Shah Mehsood, Rahatullah, Fahim Afzal, Shaukat Ali, Bakht Alam, Amjad Hussain, Ziaul Haq and Mian Mehmud.
