RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has set up 355 examination centres across Rawalpindi Division for 123,148 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) students.

The board has made foolproof arrangements for transparent and smooth holding of SSC exams which started on March 1, RBISE spokesperson Arslan Cheema said on Wednesday.

He informed that 67,281 male and 55,867 female students were issued roll number slips to appear in the exams.

Out of total examination centres, 133 were for boys and 131 for girls while 91 combined centres were also set up in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal, he said.

The spokesperson informed that special monitoring teams have been formed by the board chairman that will conduct surprise visits to the examination centres. The reports would be presented to the chairman on daily basis, he said.

A special complaint cell has also been set up and action would directly be taken by the chairman, Cheema said.
