Three-day campaign : Anti-polio drive in Thatta starts March 14
Memon said that every child should be administered polio drops during the drive
A three-day polio immunisation drive will kick-off in Thatta from March 14 to March 16, announced deputy commissioner Nadimur Rehman Memon. Children under the age of five will be administered polio drops in union councils of 30 districts, while 381 mobile and 36 transit teams have also been formed. To review the arrangements, a meeting was held which was chaired by the deputy commissioner and attended by additional deputy commissioner II Captain Bilal Shahid and other officials. Memon said that every child should be administered polio drops during the drive. Thatta SSP Fida Hussain Mastoi said that complete security will be provided to the polio teams during the three-day drive.
