Drug-peddling: Woman sent on 14-day judicial remand

LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Sunday sent a woman on a 14-day judicial remand. She had been held in a drug-peddling case. Kahna police had produced her before the court and submitted that they had caught her selling drugs. The police said they had recovered 270 gramms of hashish from the suspect. Her counsel, however, said she had been implicated in a false case and requested the court to let her go.
