Tapping reserves: Natural gas discovered in Hangu, says MPA

HANGU: Natural gas reserves have been discovered in Anar Cheena in Hangu, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Shah Faisal on Sunday. Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited has started work to dig out more reserves, added Faisal, who held a press conference at his hujra. Faisal said a well of natural gas reserves has been discovered in Anar Cheena which—if utilised properly—will help develop the area and its people progress. The MPA added oil and gas companies were reluctant to work in the area but the government convinced them to explore more reserves. He pointed out the PTI government was looking into the feasibility of setting up an industrial zone in Hangu which would comprise industries and cement factories.
