Students protest to Vice Chancellor's decision
Students of University of Lahore protest against Vice Chancellor for suspension of IT professor, tear exam sheets.
LAHORE:
Students of the University of Lahore staged a protest against the suspension of the director of the IT department on Tuesday.
The angry students burnt tires and blocked the road in front of the college to protest Vice Chancellor, Farhat Saleem’s decision to suspend the IT director, Shaheen Pasha due to personal grievances.
The students also tore the answer sheets of the Exams which had taken place on the same day in the University. The students warned that they will continue their protest unless the suspended professor is reinstated.
On the other hand Vice Chancellor Farhat Saleem has told the media that she is indifferent to the protest and will not reverse her decision.
