LOS ANGELES:
Hollywood starlet Selena Gomez has made it clear that she no longer wants to have anything to do with her ex-boyfriend, superstar Justin Bieber. The Heart Wants What It Wants hit-maker recently threatened to delete her Instagram account after some fans accused her of dissing Bieber in a post which she later deleted, reported aceshowbiz.com.
The fiasco began when the 23-year-old actor turned singer uploaded a video of herself singing Lil Wayne’s song Single on Instagram. Then, out of nowhere, Gomez allegedly insulted her estranged lover. Her words led followers to speculate that she was referring to Bieber and as more and more people accused her of this, Gomez finally reached breaking point. She posted a vehement reaction in the comments section, clarifying her stance. “That is a joke. I was singing to Lil Wayne. My life isn’t about my ex,” she said, clarifying that the video had nothing to do with her love life.
Later on, Gomez threatened to delete her account after some Instagram users told her that her post could cause some serious drama. “I want to delete my Instagram,” she said. “There is no drama. Everyone else creates drama, including this post.” The former Disney star’s last public appearance was as a presenter at this year’s Grammy Awards which were held in Los Angeles on February 15.
