Lg Polls: PPP wins election in Sanghar

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement won three wards while one went to an independent candidate

HYDERABAD:
The Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) candidates won the local government election in Sanghar’s Tando Adam municipal committee and two union councils where polling was held on Thursday. The PPP candidates secured 13 out of 23 wards in the municipal committee while the Awami Ittehad, comprising Pakistan Muslim League - Functional, Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz, Jamaat-e-Islami and nationalist parties, bagged six wards. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement won three wards while one went to an independent candidate.
