In custody: Five drug peddlers held, including two women

Police held five notorious drug peddlers including two lady smugglers and recovered 8.8 kgs of hashish from their possession on Friday.
Tahir Mehmood of Ranyal was arrested by police on charges of carrying 2.1 kilogrammes of hasish. Cases were registered against them.

SHO Police Station Saddar Barooni Malik Muhammad Yar said that a police party was on patrolling on Chakri Road when they held a notorious drug peddler, Farhat Hussain Kazmi of Hayyal Village and recovered 2.35kgs of hasish from his possession.
In another raid, arrested a lady smuggler identified as Gull Zareen located at Mandi Mohala and recovered one kilogrammes of hashish from her possession.
Police nabbed another lady drug peddler Fiza Bibi Hayyal Sharif at Biscuit Factory Chowk and seized 2.2kgs of hashish from her custody.
