Celebs take to Twitter to express their sentiments on the matter, each wishing Sanju all the best

Sanjay Dutt proved he is the King of Hearts after he walked out of jail to friends, family and hordes of fans eagerly waiting to receive him.

But they were not the only ones who were excited to see the superstar return, Sanjay Dutt's long, devoted friends in Bollywood welcomed the actor back as he was released on Thursday after completing a four-year jail term.



Many Bollywood actors took to Twitter to give Dutt a hero's welcome. Here are his close ones who expressed their joy over his return with special messages:

Sanjay's LOC Kargil co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan also shared her sentiments at a recent launch event, saying the actor "is looking absolutely amazing." "We are all very happy. I saw a picture someone showed me, and he is looking absolutely amazing. We're really looking forward to seeing Sanjuji back on the big screen because I'm a big fan of Sanjay Dutt," Kareena was quoted as saying.



Shilpa Shetty, who has shared screen space with Sanjay in Hathyar, Jung and Dus said that "he has come out as a hero."

"It's a happy event for us. He has come out a hero. Sanjay has done his time and he is looking fitter and better than before. This has been a learning curve even for him. I can only wish him wellness in every stage of his life. I am happy with the fact that he has come out," she said, while talking to the media during an exhibition in Mumbai.

Apart from these celebrities, Sanjay's friend for 32 years Raj Bansal, a leading film distributor, and renowned filmmaker and close friend Rajkumar Hirani accompanied his family in chartered plane to fly him back to Mumbai from Pune.
