Crash landing: Shaheen Airlines pilot granted bail

A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday granted bail to Asmat Mahmood, a Shaheen Airlines pilot on furnishing Rs 0.5 million bail bonds. An anti-terrorism court on December 4 had rejected his bail petition. The pilot had crash-landed a Shaheen Airline plane at Allama Iqbal Airport. Sarwar Road police had arrested Asmat Mehmood for crash-landing allegedly under the influence of liquor.
