LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Iqbal Town SHO on a petition moved by a woman seeking a case against a ‘friend’ who she said had helped her brother and another man rape her.

The petitioner told the court that she had visited her friend’s house for dinner at her invitation. She said her friend had drugged her food. She said she fell unconscious after eating it. She said she was then raped by her friend’s brother and another man.

She said they had also made a film and taken photographs of her. She told the court that the men were threatening to upload the video on the web if she discussed the matter with anyone. She said she had approached police with a complaint but the SHO had not entertained her. She asked the court to direct the police to register her complaint.
