Better facilities : ‘Tharparkar healthcare situation in control’

Situation in the Tharparkar district is under control and patients are being provided with better healthcare facilities, said additional deputy commissioner Nisar Memon. He said this during a meeting that was held to review the health facilities, on Wednesday. He said that the overall health situation of patients was rapidly improving and administration was taking every possible step for further betterment. Civil surgeon of Civil Hospital, Mitthi, Iqbal Ahmad Burghari said that at 2,444 children were received and treated at Civil hospital from February 1 to February 23, out of which 328 were admitted there while 13 were referred to Hyderabad for further treatment. He added that in February, 26 children lost their lives due to diarrhea, pneumonia and other diseases.
