KARACHI:
Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf was taken to PNS Shifa Hospital with spinal cord pain on Wednesday, family sources told The Express Tribune.

A team of doctors visited Musharraf’s residence and advised him to visit the hospital for further medication.

The former president was referred to Ziauddin Hospital in Clifton for medical tests by the PNS Shifa Hospital doctors, the sources added.

Musharraf discharged from hospital after checkup

On February 11, he was also taken to the same hospital with acute pain in his back and was later shifted to home after a few hours of treatment.

Earlier, a sessions court in Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants for him in the Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case. The court has ordered the concerned authorities to produce the former president in the court on March 16.
