There isn't a stretch in the country where you can't find roadside cafes, or dhabas as we know them.
Originating from Punjabi culture and previously confined to highways, these havens for tea lovers are now popping up in urban neighbourhoods and are embraced wholeheartedly by the younger generation.
From the steaming hot tea, to the truck-art adorned on the dhabas, to the modern dhabba nutella-filled parathas, we look at 19 pictures of roadside cafes submitted by our readers.
