Record earnings: NADRA earns net profit of Rs6 billion

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has earned an unprecedented net profit of Rs6 billion during the current fiscal year. This was announced during a briefing held at the interior ministry chaired by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
NADRA’s chairman said that fiscal year 2015 was a success story vis-à-vis improvement in service delivery.

The authority had faced a loss of Rs 1.68 billion during fiscal year 2011-12.
The meeting which included heads of civil departments working under the interior ministry reviewed the overall working of the ministry and various departments, the progress made so far on new policies regarding private security companies, bullet proofing of vehicles and arms licensing among other issues.
