LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge sought comments on Monday from the Shadman SHO on a petition filed by a woman seeking registration of a case against a doctor for raping her.

The victim submitted that she had gone to Dr Mushtaq on Multan Road for a check-up. She said the doctor had recommended her a 10-day medication and added that she did not have enough money for the prescription so she had purchased medicines for three days.

After three days, she said, she had called the doctor who said he was coming to Shadman to give medicines to a patient and that he would also bring medicines for her.

“On February 3, when I went to take medicines from him he asked me to sit in his car. He took me to a house where he and another man raped me,” she said.
