Van falls into ravine: One killed, three injured in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD: At least one person was killed and four others received injuries in a road accident near Madarpur in district Rawalakot, AJK. According to the police, a passengers van was on the way from Hajira to Teetrinot, when it fell into a deep ravine while negotiating a sharp turn near Madarpur. Locals shifted the injured to THQ Hajira. One passenger, Muhammad Rafiq, died spot while another among the four injured is stated to be in critical condition. The injured have been sent to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Hospital Rawalakot. The driver of the van is said to have fled.
