All systems go: IT awareness week kicks off at FATA Secretariat
FATA Additional Chief Secretary Muhammad Aslam Komboh inaugurated the initiative
PESHAWAR:
The FATA Secretariat has organised an information technology awareness week.
According to a statement issued by the FATA Institutional Strengthening Project (FISP) on Monday, FATA Additional Chief Secretary Muhammad Aslam Komboh inaugurated the initiative at an event attended by administrative secretaries, heads of directorates, and donors at the secretariat. Komboh was briefed about the current systems in place and their benefits.
The briefing was followed by a seminar where Komboh told participants about the latest IT infrastructure which the secretariat was equipped with. IT based governance systems were also in use at the secretariat, implemented through the USAID-funded FISP, said Komboh.
The handout quoted Komboh as saying the FATA Secretariat should take pride in having the latest IT systems which can improve service delivery and ensure transparency.
