SC demands FO submit report on missing persons

The Supreme Court demanded that the Foreign Office present a report on missing persons imprisoned abroad on Monday.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal heard the case. During the hearing, Additional Attorney General KK Agha assured the court that a commission was in place to look into the case of the missing persons.
The Interior Ministry stressed that no new cases of missing persons have been reported from prisons abroad. However, the Supreme Court insisted that efforts be made to obtain fresh information of Pakistanis imprisoned abroad.
