LAHORE:

“The metro train project in Delhi had faced similar criticism the Orange Line Metro Train project in Lahore,” said Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale in a meeting with Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday. The Indian diplomat said the success of Delhi Metro project had given way to scores of development projects that had benefitted millions of people across India.

He said governments of India and Pakistan were taking steps to strengthen bilateral relations.  The chief minister said, “Pakistan and India should have good neighbourly relations. War is not a solution for any problem.” “India and Pakistan share a common enemy in poverty, food insecurity and unemployment,” he said.
