Bikers open fire at policemen deployed at Iqbal Town check post
Unidentified armed men riding a motorbike gunned down two police personnel on Wednesday as they attacked a police check post deployed in the Iqbal Town area of Lahore.
According to Express News, the police personnel deployed in the area asked the bikers to stop for frisking, but the latter instead opened fire, killing the two policemen.
The deceased were identified as Mubashair and Asif, who were shifted to a hospital.

DIG Operations Haider Ashraf said three teams were formed to investigate the killings, while officials were also deployed to arrest the culprits.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the killing, and expressed his condolences for the bereaved.
