CTD arrests: Four suspects taken into custody

The names of the suspects were not disclosed and they were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation

Law-enforcement agencies arrested four suspected terrorists in two different raids and seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition.



The counter-terrorism department (CTD) stated in a press release a special search and strike operation was carried out in the Hazara region and law-enforcement officers were successful in arresting three suspects who were headed to Shangla and Torghar.


The names of the suspects were not disclosed and they were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.


According to a press release, six kilogrammes of explosives, four feet of safety fuse, three detonators, a hand grenade and 11 feet of primacord were confiscated from their possession.


CTD Peshawar, in a search operation within the jurisdiction of Peer Bala Chowk police in Mathra, arrested a suspected terrorist associated with a banned militant group.
