Compliance: Contempt of court plea against LDA DG disposed of

The LDA counsel told the court that a process to allot the plots had been completed

LAHORE:
Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday disposed of a contempt of court petition against Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Ahad Cheema as grievances of the petitioner stood addressed.

Abdul Hafeez had filed the petition submitting that the LDA had not given him possession of two five-marla plots for 18 years. He said the court had ordered the DG several times to give the possession to him but nothing had been done in this regard.

The LDA counsel told the court that a process to allot the plots had been completed. He submitted documents in support of the submission.
