Sea view apartments: Burglars take away valuables worth Rs0.6 million
A case has yet to be registered but investigation is under way
KARACHI:
Unidentified masked men robbed jewelry and other valuables at gunpoint from a house at Sea View Apartments on Sunday.
The police reached the site and inspected the apartment and surrounding area. Darakshan Additional SHO Azhar Ali said the masked culprits entered the house from the kitchen window at around 4am and held the family members hostage at gunpoint while committing the robbery.
He added that the culprits managed to take away valuable jewelry and a watch collectively worth nearly Rs600, 000. The officer said the victim's house was being repainted for the last few days and it seems the painters are behind the incident. A case has yet to be registered but investigation is under way.
