Firing Incident: One cop killed, two injured
The injured cops have been admitted at PIMS Hospital and further investigation is under way
ISLAMABAD:
A head constable of the Islamabad police was killed and two others injured in a firing incident. The attack was carried out by two motorcyclists on Friday at Pindora Chungi in area of the industrial area police station. According to a police spokesperson, two motorcyclists shot and killed Head Constable Imtiaz, and injured Constable Zahid and FC Constable Bismillah Jan. The injured cops have been admitted at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital and further investigation is under way. Following the incident, the police said they have started a search operation in the area and that special teams have been constituted to ensure the arrest of the culprits.
