Outgoing Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata has said Pakistan has performed extraordinarily in the domains of foreign policy and economic reforms.



The envoy paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM House on Friday, where they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. The PM appreciated Inomata’s contribution in consolidating the bilateral relations. He said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Japan.


Expressing satisfaction at the current state of relations, the Japanese envoy said Pakistan’s efforts towards reaching out to its neighbouring countries were highly commendable.


Encouraged by the economic turnaround achieved by Pakistan, he said a significant number of investors were now preparing to explore business opportunities in the country.


The ambassador also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and valuable support extended to him by the Pakistani government during his tenure.
