A new passport office was inaugurated in Nowshera district on Friday.
The office was inaugurated by Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam.
Addressing the participants, Muqam said the new facility will make it easier for residents of Nowshera to have their passports renewed.
“Residents will no longer have to wake up early in the morning to visit the passport office in Peshawar,” he said. “This will save time and money. The people of Nowshera won’t have to suffer any inconveniences,” he stated. “The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has failed to maintain transparency through the Ehtesab Commission,” Muqam said. “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has not been able to put an end to corruption in the province. He said PTI Chairperson Imran Khan has failed to fulfil his promise to ensure accountability and transparency.
According to the PM’s adviser, a new NADRA office will also be established in Akora Khattak and Jehangira. He instructed the relevant authorities to commence work on NADRA office in Pabbi.
On February 6, a passport office was inaugurated in Swabi. The facility was also inaugurated by Muqam.
