Forged records: Industries minister gets pre-arrest bail

The SHC put the NAB officials on notice till February 25

HYDERABAD:


Provincial industries minister Muhammad Ali Malkani obtained pre-arrest bail from the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday.



He is facing arrest by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which is investigating cases of alleged illegal and forged land ownership records of Malkani and his brother Shaukat Ali Malkani, former taluka nazim of Thatta.

Both submitted a surety of Rs1 million each before obtaining the pre-arrest bail. The SHC put the NAB officials on notice till February 25.
