For IDPs: Alliance demands rehabilitation
According to the participants, 83,000 students have already suffered due to the prevalent crisis

All Political Alliance in North Waziristan demanded picking up the pace in rehabilitating internally displaced persons (IDP). A jirga was arranged in this regard at Kot Beli under the supervision of the alliance chair, Malik Ghulam Khan. The speakers censured robberies in the homes of IDPs and subsequent auctioning of looted belongings. They accused non-profit organisations and elected MNAs of being involved in the malpractice and preventing aid from international donors to flow in. According to the participants, 83,000 students have already suffered due to the prevalent crisis and rehabilitation must be expedited to save others from experiencing the same academic failure. The speakers said as long as the Frontier Crimes Regulation remained active in the tribal areas, peace and justice would never prevail. They blamed the legislation for aiding corruption.
