On remand: Police arrest three in blind murder case
The police have taken remand of the suspects from a court
GUJAR KHAN:
The Gujar Khan police solved a blind murder case two weeks after a woman’s body was found on Dongi Dam Road. The investigation officer, SHO Sheikh Qasim said on Wednesday that police have arrested three persons—identified as Naveed, his wife, Sumaira, and his friend, Sajida— in connection with the murder of Azra Babi, a local. The officer said that the suspected persons allegedly called the victim at their house at Baraf Khana Chowk where they poisoned her and later dumped her body on Dongi Dam Road. The police have also recovered the jewellery which the suspects had sold in Rawalpindi. The police have taken remand of the suspects from a court.
