Two bandits were killed during an exchange of fire with police in Karachi on Monday.
Police said the suspects were trying to escape after shooting a fruit vendor, who resisted a robbery, in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city.
Police responded immediately, and the exchange of fire resulted in the death of both the dacoits.
Boy injured during robbery attempt
The fruit vendor, identified as Ayaz, also succumbed to his injuries later.
The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah hospital.
While the bandits are yet to be identified, pistols, a motorbike and other valuables were recovered from the site.
