Aiming for president: Ali Asghar Khan to contest PTI polls
Ali will most likely be challenged by PTI government former health minister Shaukat Yousafzai and Salim Jan

Ali Asghar Khan is preparing to contest the office of provincial president in the upcoming intra-party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf polls, insiders told The Express Tribune on Monday.
Ali is the son of politician and Tehreek-e-Istiqlal Party chief Air Marshal (retd) Asghar Khan and the younger brother of the late social scientist and NGO Sungi executive director Omar Asghar Khan.
Ali is known for his progressive and development-oriented ideas. He headed the Omar Asghar Khan Foundation and implemented several projects in Galiyat and Kohistan.
According to PTI sources, Ali will most likely be challenged by PTI government former health minister Shaukat Yousafzai and Salim Jan.
When contacted, Ali was not available for comments, however, one of his close associates confirmed Ali was among the contenders for the office of provincial president.
