Tragic: Teacher shot dead at his home
The police have registered a case and have started an investigation
MUZAFFARABAD:
Unidentified gunmen shot dead a schoolteacher at his home on Friday, in the area of Tatta Pani, Rawalakot. According to the police, Amir Hussain, a senior science teacher at the Government Boys High School in Darra Sher Khan, was gunned down by the unknown assailants. The incident took place at the teacher’s home in the village of Kanwain Danga Chatter, Tatta Pani. Hussain’s neighbours and locals found the body of the teacher, who had been shot in the head. The late teacher’s family claim they had no enmity with anyone in the area. A team from the Hajira Police have taken custody of the body to conduct an autopsy. Hussain’s body was returned to his family after the completion of legal and medical formalities. He was later buried at his ancestral graveyard.
