Resisting official business: FIR registered against contractors
Two contractors Mirza Shafiq and Mirza Tanveer resisted the officials and threatened them with dire consequences

Saddar police have registered a case against the contractors of Model City Phase-II, a private housing colony, for hindering Faisalabad Development Authority’s work. A police spokesperson said on Sunday that a team of FDA officials had visited the housing authority on Satiana Road in Chak 238-RB to seal it. He said that Model City Phase-II had been declared illegal because the contractors had violated certain code standards. However, two contractors Mirza Shafiq and Mirza Tanveer resisted the officials and threatened them with dire consequences, the spokesperson said. The police registered a case against the two and are now looking for them, he said.
