Divisional SPs were asked on Sunday to personally visit A+ category education institutes in the city to check implementation of standard operating procedures (SoPs) on security.

Divisional SPs were asked on Sunday to personally visit A+ category education institutes in the city to check implementation of standard operating procedures (SoPs) on security.
CCPO Capt (r) Amin Vains was speaking at a meeting with Operations Wing officers at the Qila Gujjar Singh police lines.
He said DSPs and SHOs should ensure availability of vehicles for patrolling of areas in the vicinity of schools.
He said the police officers should brief guards deployed at schools about SoPs on security.
The CCPO said the police were evolving a strategy to crack down on land grabbers.
