Two flights of national airline carrying 725 Umra pilgrims from Jeddah reach Islamabad airport

After five days of stalled operations, eight flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) took off and reached their destinations on Sunday.
According to Radio Pakistan, two flights of the national airline carrying 725 Umrah pilgrims from Jeddah reached Islamabad airport, while two other flights left for Jeddah and Dubai.
Flight operations between Gilgit and Islamabad also resumed on Sunday.
16 PIA flights cancelled on Friday
PIA spokesperson Daniyal Gilani assured the employees of security, saying the number of operational flights will gradually increase.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid congratulated the workers who had started performing their duties.
