Representatives and consultants from 18 Australian universities offered advice and support to students at the expo, organised by the Australian Education Office (AEO), Pakistan.

Education consultant Pauline Drayton who has been visiting Pakistan to facilitate students to pursue education in Australia told The Express Tribune that Pakistani students were immensely talented.

“Every time I have come to Pakistan to interact with students, I realise that they are sharp, intelligent and have great potential that can be polished even more after pursuing an educational degree abroad because education in Australia is not only world class but it equips students with global exposure,” she said.

Drayton further said that Australia welcomes international students because it truly believed in diversity.

“Most of our universities have a high majority of foreign students that make it easier for Pakistani students to settle in and learn from each others experiences, make global contacts and network with people from across the globe,” she added.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, AEO Pakistan President Saad Mahmood said that the AEO began its operations in Pakistan in 1997 and had been facilitating students to pursue education in Australia since then.

Mahbood told The Express Tribune that not only universities in Australia offered a world-class education but it was a beautiful place to live with a great climate.

Adil Amjad, a student visiting the expo said that he found the event very informative.

After facilitating more than 300 students on its first day at the Serena Hotel on Thursday, the Australian Education Expo 2016 is all set to facilitate more students at their Islamabad office on Friday.
