City Villas and Madina Gardens in Niamoana have been sealed for not complying with code requirements
FAISALABAD:
Two residential schemes in Niamoana were sealed on Thursday. The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has issued a general notification asking people not to purchase plots in the schemes. A spokesperson of the FDA said City Villas and Madina Gardens in Niamoana have been sealed for not complying with code requirements. He said under the Punjab Local Government Ordinance 2001 and the Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976, all housing scheme developers were supposed to seek prior permission from the FDA before developing the housing schemes. He said the FDA had written to the WASA managing director, the FESCO planning and designing manager and the SNGPL general manager not to provide the housing schemes any facilities and unless the developers get approval from the FDA.
