Church law: Case moved against pastor
He asked the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against the suspects
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge has sought comments from the Liaquatabad SHO on a petition filed by a bishop of United Presbyterian Church seeking a case against a pastor for allegedly cancelling his church membership on forged documents. Petitioner Khalid Pervez told the court that he had been serving as bishop in the UP Church. He said Aneel Jan was a pastor. He said Jan had cancelled his and his family’s membership using forged letters from the church. He said this was a violation of Section 471, 468 and 420 of the PPC ) He asked the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against the suspects.
