Afghanistan U-19 crush RLCA

Afghanistan under-19 outclass Rashid Latif Cricket Academy by 9 wickets in their first match of their tour.

KARACHI: Afghanistan under-19 outclassed Rashid Latif Cricket Academy (RLCA) by nine wickets in their first match of their tour to the city.

Mohammad Yameen and Aftab Alam took three wickets each as the visitors bowled out their opponents for 90. Mohammad Shoaib (18) was the top scorer for RLCA. The visitors achieved the target comfortably in just 13 overs with Aman Khan top-scoring with a 52-run knock.

The Afghanistan U-19 team is touring Karachi to prepare for the qualifying round of the International Cricket Council U-19 World Cup. They will leave for Thailand on January 27 to participate in the event.
