Aman jirga rally: Looking for a longer tenure
The organisers highlighted the achievements of Raheel and condemned the brutal attacks on educational institutes
PESHAWAR:
Members of the Aman Jirga held a rally in the city in support of the army chief General Raheel Sharif, and demanded he extend his tenure. The rally was organised by Aman Jirga provincial president Syed Kamal Shah Bacha, Advocate Arshad Manan, Shakeelur Rehman and other office-bearers on GT Road on Sunday. Participants raised their voice in favour of the army chief and said, “We want peace in our land and in our region.” The organisers highlighted the achievements of Raheel and condemned the brutal attacks on educational institutes.
