In Custody: CTD arrests suspected militant
The accused is a member of a banned militant group
PESHAWAR:
The counter-terrorism department arrested a suspected militant on Saturday. According to a handout issued by the department, Sarfaraz was trying to enter Peshawar from Khyber Agency to allegedly orchestrate a terrorist attack. “Two hand grenades and a TT pistol were found from his possession,” read the statement. “He was caught on Jamrud Road.” The accused is a member of a banned militant outfit and was shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
