Search operation: Man arrested, 10 landmines seized
Landmines are usually used by terrorists to target police and security forces
PARACHINAR:
Officials of the political administration arrested a man and seized 10 landmines from his house in Parachinar, Kurram Agency Friday morning. Acting on a tip-off received by intelligence agencies, political administration officials and levies raided a house located in Upper Kurram Agency and recovered 10 landmines. The homeowner who was also arrested has been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. A search operation has been conducted in the nearby areas to find the culprit’s facilitators and accomplices. Landmines are usually used by terrorists to target police and security forces in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
